Ally: Is that all?
Ann: (angry) Listen to me. You might
have had a better CGPA last year, but this time, I’ll be better. I’ll be the
best, Allyson.
Ally: (still indifferent) I was on
my way to the Student’s Lounge if you don’t mind (turns to go, begins to leave)
Ann: I got Fred, too.
Ally: (stops, turns to face Ann)
Fred is a part of my past. Joe is my present, and I love him. I am happier with

will not approve of me
Kim: (laughs, sits on a study chair)
Neither will yours. Jade and Ernie will freak.

Tom: What’s up, Sully?
Rob: I’m good, man (sits on Tom’s
bed)
Ms. Whyte: (on megaphone) Everybody
come out to the Student’s Lounge now! You have ninety seconds. Any student not
here in ninety seconds will have himself or herself to blame.
Jake: ugh, what’s the problem now?
Rob: Well let’s find out
(the three boys leave)
Scene Ten: Student’s Lounge
(there is noise everywhere)
Ms. Whyte: Quiet!!!!
(silence)
Ms. Whyte: Better. Kathy, come out
(Kathy comes out) Good! Miss Montgomery here is searching for her mother’s
necklace
Kathy: It’s not my mother’s. it’s my
great-grandmother’s great-grandma’s grandmother’s
(laughter)
Ms. Whyte: Alright, Miss Montgomery.
Has anyone seen it? It’s a red pendant with a silver chain
Kathy: No, Ms. Whyte, it’s a
thousand-year-old ruby stone, fastened to a very rare kind of chain. I need to
find it.
Ms. Whyte: Do you want to take over
this search, Kathy?
Kathy: No, I just need my necklace
Ms. Whyte: I am now going in to
search every room for this necklace. Before I go, anybody, do you have a
confession to make? (silence) Oh well, Ann, no one is to leave this room,
yourselfincluded. (leaves)
Becky: (to Ally and Regina) This is
stupid
Regina: I know right?
Becky: Why did she misplace her
stupid necklace?
Regina: Silly Kathy (to Ally) Ally,
are you okay?
Ally: No, I’m not. That crazy Ann
held me up in the hallway, she said things to me, but I kept my cool and she
got angry and gripped me. She could have hurt me, but Ms. Whyte showed up just
in time.
Becky: We have to do something.
Confront her or something.
Ally: No, that’s what she wants.
Reactions, I won’t give her that satisfaction. No way, and you two wont either,
okay? (looks from Regina to Becky) Okay?
Regina: Okay
Ally: Becky?
Becky: (shrugs) Whatever
(another part of the
room)
Kathy: It has to be found. It’s all
your fault
Ronnie: I’m sorry, okay?
Kathy: (holds up an empty palm) See?
Sorry doesn’t bring back my necklace
Rob: Let it go already, Kathy
Kathy: Oh, shut up
Jade: Hey, little Miss Ninny Pants,
don’t talk like that to my best friend. Or you’ll get it hot.
Kathy: Ugh, whatever(leaves to
another table)
Ronnie: (sobs) It IS my fault
Jade: don’t cry, forget about it.
Ms. Whyte will find it.
(another part of the room)
Tom: (laughs) You did that?
Drake: Yeah. I told him…
Ms. Whyte: (enters) Hello (holds up
a necklace) Kathy, your necklace.
Kathy: (rushes to Ms. Whyte’s side)
Oh thank you. Which of these hooligans was with it?
Ms. Whyte: Nobody, Kathryn. It was
in your brown suitcase.
(murmuring)
Jade: (stands) Wow! Big mystery
solved
Regina: It was in your bag the whole
time?
Rob: Are you kidding me?
Kim: This has been one huge cry for
attention right?
Jade: You said some pretty mean
things to Ronnie, told Rob to shut up, tried to teach Ms. Whyte proper
description and called us hooligans. All for a necklace that was in your
suitcase the entire time!
Kathy: (scared and confused) I… I… It… I… It wasn’t in my suitcase. I
checked, somebody must have put it there.
Drake: Sure… Why don’t we start a new search for the
person who framed you for the theft of your own necklace?
(peals of laughter)
Becky: No its not hers, it’s her
great-granny’s sister’s cousin’s daughter’s grandmother’s
(laughter)
Ms. Whyte: (concealing a smile)
Enough! (silence) Kathy I believe you owe everyone an apology (gives her the
necklace) Apologize and you’re all free to go
Kathy: I uh… Errrrr. Well, I um
Fred: Talk already
Jade, Ernie: Yeah
Kathy: I’m s… I’m… I’m sorry
Ronnie: Whatever (leaves?)
Regina: Yeah, right (leaves with
Drake, Ally, Becky and Tom)
Kathy: Ronnie! (goes after her)
Kim: Drama, drama and more drama
(leaves)
(end
of episode)
